Bloomberg contributes to TC39 and has open meetings for anyone to attend their internal presentations on new standards.
Great health benefits and good 401k matching.
The framework used to build Bloomberg terminal UIs, Rapid, is awful to work with. The okay part is the company is aware, and there are some internal people working on improving the developer experience.
Tech stack in some parts of the company is ancient. In certain instances, there are folks that straight up write new legacy code.

The managers I had were pretty good and did the best they could for their ICs. Unfortunately, due to top-down pressure, our team had pretty rough WLB.
My advice to those higher up in the management chain would be to give frontline managers and ICs more flexibility.
