Good compensation and benefits.
Big pay gaps across engineers of similar experience.
On-call is demanding.
Heavy emphasis and enforcement of in-office time impedes individual contributors' ability to produce the best work.
Lots of clique-y behavior in middle and upper management. Heavy emphasis on advancing the careers of foreign folks and POC (visa sponsorship reciprocity). Contributions are largely ignored no matter how large the task is.
Little to no exposure to higher-ups, which makes it impossible to level up after contextual spin-up of products/software.
