Pros

Decent compensation, before you realize a 10-hour workday is the expectation. Good health coverage. Some good people. Looks good on a resume.

Cons

A flat, sad, and stagnant environment, packed with has-beens enduring a soul-crashing grind. The codebase is messy, kludgy, missing comments, tests, formatting, and a basic understanding of good design.

There's a lot of prop tech that's useless elsewhere, old, and might trigger a bad case of OCD just from looking at it.

Frequent emails from management remind everyone of BLP's greatness and how lucky everyone is for getting a chance to enhance it further through hard work and personal sacrifice.

Advice to Management

Cut the woke BS. Mini Mike's net worth has to be larger than the combined net worth of everyone else in the company, and daily reminders about the virtues of "equity" don't quite jive with that fact.
