Salary and bonus are very bad for the area. Almost no chance for promotions or raises. The ancient codebase doesn't fit in with a "modern" company. Everything is proprietary, so there are zero transferable skills. Join for a good name on a resume, but leave before you get sucked in. Name recognition is the only good takeaway while working here.
Stop supporting BDE. There are much better solutions on the market than the internally developed ones. No engineer wants to be stuck in a dead-end position where they don't grow their skillset.
