In general, pay will be good in any team.
If you are in a relatively new team, then you may be using C++ and somewhat latest technologies.
Most teams will not tolerate tardiness and late arrivals; however, late departures are always welcome here (in fact, much needed).
Fortran and really old technologies are still prevalent in some teams. If you work there for 4 years, you are rendered almost useless for any other company.
Things are changing, though, and it's much better.
There is definitely a lot of politics, which is not obvious to leaf nodes.
Less politics. If 10B is a dream, then please make it 9B or 8B for all those hard-workers who have been chasing it. (10B is the revenue that Bloomberg targets)
