Personal experience with managers here has been mostly great. I worked with very supportive people, and I was always offered new learning opportunities and trust. The environment is very collaborative (a huge difference from what I hear from friends in FANG or other finance companies); here you actually work as a team (instead of against the other people).
Not a lot of transparency regarding the factors that go into deciding your ratings and ultimately your compensation. You have an idea of what the metrics are, but not how important each of them is or how many points you got.
