Great people, decent tech
Many smart and friendly people who are open to helping each other out. The culture is great. No pressure to overwork and the hours are standard from what I see around me.
A lot of in-house technologies were built long ago, so a lot of the design reasoning just 'is what it is'. Newer teams that aren't so much based around the Bloomberg Terminal get to use the newer, open-source, cutting-edge tech.
