Legacy tech everywhere. If you are a techie, then you won't be very satisfied in this place, as there's not a lot of hard-core tech for you to work on. Being on the bleeding edge tech-wise is never Bloomberg's priority, despite them trying hard to convince you of a strong engineering culture.
To go far and move fast, you need to invest in good tech infrastructure. Stop using "but we need to create business value now" as an excuse to get away from it.
