Go quickly alone, but go far together (with collaboration).
I have seen a colleague do this and collaborate on a solution with several teams for a year and still not deliver anything. This is the new norm.
There is so much spyware on my laptop (installed by the company) that I have to reboot a few times in the morning to actually be able to start up the Bloomberg terminal on my company laptop.
Time spent collaborating is everything that's important now. Obviously, our clients don't mind waiting; they will have something amazing in a decade.
