Good work-life balance. The infrastructure department is the best for engineers, especially DNA.
Different departments work like different companies. Some departments have the same managers forever, and it runs like a private club with their favorites getting picked for everything. You need to be part of the "clique" to grow.
For engineers, most departments outside infrastructure do not behave like a tech company. Managers feel too entitled.
Have humility. Move managers around to ensure you break the clubs and cliques.
