Pros: Good benefits from the union, some protection in disciplinary meetings (not guaranteed), ease of integration onto a team especially if you're new, low pressure (most of the time), and sometimes free food. Good salary and good growth.

Cons: Union barely protects you. They act like they do, but only if you have a good union rep. If you're not on a specific project or program, you might see this company trying to pigeon-hole you into the work you're doing forever unless you jump around. You really have to learn on your own for the most part because the subject matter experts have all left the company or went to other states outside of Puget Sound.

Pros: Good benefits within the SPEEA Professional union. Overtime is paid, good health insurance for now, and flexible work hours.

Cons: Management keeps playing musical chairs. There is no good career path unless you change positions frequently throughout the company.

Pros: The pay was good for an entry-level job outside of tech.

Cons: It's not interesting or real engineering. Leadership doesn't care about fixing things or progress, just profit. Career growth is about conformity and popularity.
