Pros: Great people. Amazingly talented and skilled workforce. If you want to know everything about any machining, processing, or really anything aerospace, there is a lifelong expert who knows everything about that topic.
Want to learn everything about a lathe? There is a lifelong expert who has used everything from a manual desktop lathe to a 300-foot-long CNC and machined parts 30 feet long or 2 inches.
Want to know about heat treating? There is a lifelong expert who knows everything about any material you can think of and the effects on it.
Cons: The company is completely focused on today and not the long term. The focus is on today and what the today problem is. It solves it for today, which might not be a problem for the rest of today or tomorrow, but it will be back. It does not focus on the long-term solution to prevent seeing this problem today.
