I had two phone interviews only. The first was very regimented STAR behavioral with typical questions. The second was a little more relaxed with more room to explore.
Very few technical questions other than describing my past experience.
Since I have been working at Boeing, I have sat on interview panels. The Boeing process gives very little leeway for interviewers to do anything but ask the STAR questions generated by HR/Hiring manager.
This means that for the interviewee, it is imperative you are prepared to show off all of your important work experience in the form of answers to behavioral questions. You will be rated on the answer to each question based solely on the content of your answer and nothing else.
Also note that the hiring process is remarkably slow. I think it was 6 months from when I submitted a resume online to my start date.
