It's always a scramble to get the left hand communicating with the right
Senior Software Engineer • Former Employee
Denver, Colorado, United States
October 1, 2024
Pros: Got to work on world-class aviation tools and see a little piece of the aviation industry.
Cons: Got laid off with no notice because the company found itself dealing with a worker strike and needed to conserve cash.
I lost touch with nearly everyone I'd networked with over the last two years because my position was closed immediately, before I had the time to reach out and preserve the connections.

Cons: limited promotions, some departments were not a team; a "me first" attitude.

Great when it's great, but a perfect storm of events..
Senior Software Engineer • Former Employee
Seattle, Washington, United States
November 23, 2020
Pros: Good compensation. Maybe not as much as you can get in Silicon Valley, but if you get the right balance of pay and a low cost of living, you'll do well.
Most people are great.
Cons: Things can still go sideways, and politics can play a big role on whether you stay or not. In that situation, it won't matter how well liked you are or how good you are at your job.
