Pros: In Engineering, the people you work with are very knowledgeable and friendly.
The normal hours for a Software Engineer are sane (40 per week), and you get paid for working overtime.
The benefits are good.
The work is usually (though not always) interesting.
It's a good feeling seeing something you and hundreds of others designed or worked on fly and how important it is to our customers.
Cons: The management is so worried about "metrics" that they forget about common sense and lose sight of the big picture.
Sometimes work is done inefficiently as a result of management not using logic and reason when coming up with processes.

Pros: Great environment, at least for me to start my career. I have a very supportive team around me and the ability to learn new and exciting things in my development track.
Cons: The uncertainty surrounding the company, with its massive debt and layoffs, creates an uneasy environment.

Pros: Pay is ok. Some of the stuff you work on is interesting.
Cons: Promoting people to level 5 IC when their job is a glorified Jira administrator.
Nepotism-based hiring, only hiring people they want instead of looking at how an employee would be a good fit.
Spinning off whole teams costing over several million dollars a year when current team members could easily handle the tasks.
