Pros: You get to work with and on the best commercial aircraft in the world, and see innovative solutions to manufacturing and engineering problems.
There are endless opportunities to move between the various job functions and sites around the world once you are inside.
Cons: You tend to be a faceless number in the system. If you want to advance or develop, you need to push it yourself. Nobody will tell you what the opportunities are or what you need to do to move up. You have to have the drive to improve your own situation.
