Pros

The work/life balance is as great as any company in the United States. The pay is certainly not great, but the benefits are among the best, in large part due to the company's size and presumed negotiating power.

Cons

Boeing is certainly not the place to be if you are serious about your career. It simply does not compare with firms like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, etc., in terms of career advancement and skill set development.

Advice to Management

Boeing is limited in the quality of talent it can hire. The lack of prestige, high salaries, etc., do not allow it to recruit the best and brightest. Students from top schools like Stanford and Harvard will typically take positions at top investment banks and management consulting firms over a "has-been" like Boeing.
