Pros

Flexible hours. Cool products and site.

Cons

High-stress environment. Management constantly trying to hold unrealistic schedules and willing to work people to the bone to achieve them, even though the customer doesn’t really need the product by that arbitrary date. They are willing to sacrifice quality to ensure dates and costs are met, but unwilling to admit it.

Company squeezing profits from employees by giving unsatisfactory raises while doing tens of billions in stock buybacks.

Benefits were strong but are getting eroded every year.

Management is out of touch with employees’ worth. They believe working for the company is a privilege when other companies have much better work cultures and pay more.

Make sure you get top dollar on the way in, because no one will fight to get you a raise once you’re in the door.

Advice to Management

Focus on quality, people, and long-term success, not short-term quarterly financial statements.
