Good pay, good 401(k), lots of job movement and growth opportunity. Not a strict-laced company, though it depends where you work.
Bonuses are crap. The CEO gets 8 million, where I got 5K. Too many managers don't know what they're talking about, with unrealistic expectations. They always talk about how good Mc-Donald Douglass was. No cooperation between different disciplines. It's hard to get a project that spans across multiple teams to move forward because everyone is selfish. Airlines always ask for AOG, when in reality it is set to fly in 3 days.
Increase salary to incentivize people to stay. You are stingy with salary increases; that's why people leave the company and work for Raytheon or Northrop. Stop hiring new engineers to fill heads. Hiring new people slows down the work pace, yet managers increase expectations because there are more people.
