Occasionally, you are doing some pretty menial work, meaning it's not very intellectually engaging. A lot of the processes are standardized, so you aren't allowed to be very creative.
Try to be more open-minded to the new ideas that younger engineers bring to the group. Too often, new engineers are allowed to express their ideas, but they are never actually considered.
