Some nice people and some cool technology.
Management sucks. People with real leadership skills are passed over, especially if you’re not white. There's lots of favoritism not based on merit, but more of a mirrortocracy and a ton of multi-generational employees that benefit from nepotism. The place is one of the most toxic places I have ever worked.
Stop promoting the wrong people into management. Stop giving these people big heads with these fake leadership development programs, like LX (what a joke).
Fire many of the middle managers who have ZERO leadership and people skills. Promote your real talent and at least pay them what they are worth, because other companies will poach them quickly.
The interview was a panel interview with four people who did not give me background on themselves. They asked me all situational questions and never asked any follow-up. It honestly seemed like they didn't care.
One sole interview with three people. It was a phone interview. You had to call to a conference number. Two people were taking notes, and one guy was making the questions. There was no room for errors.
STAR (situation, task, action, result) type interview. Have your project stories ready. Usually, a few stories for each category fall under process improvements, human relations, and difficulties/troubleshooting, etc. Brush up on your technical ski
