Other: 100% coverage for advanced technical degrees with a 2-year commitment.
Culture: Not suitable for highly motivated individuals seeking rapid advancement. Too many politics and bureaucracy, which drives a complacent culture. The union environment flattens performance management, with everyone looked at as the same value despite clear out-performers. This leads many highly capable folks to leave the company.
Culture change should be at the forefront of Boeing's vision for the future. Performance management needs to be reformed so high performers are recognized and move through the ranks based on merit, not by seniority or the good 'ol boy network.
