Pay is better at nearly all competitors unless you have a family to double-dip benefits and save more money.
Planning is pretty short-sighted, and they ignored risks to schedules due to COVID-related staff issues and supply chains.
Listen to employees, and maybe more will stick around, especially the early-career ones.
