Pros

Work is not difficult; it is easy to understand archaic tools and systems from the 70s.

Cons

Long gone are the leaders who were engineering-centric. Even those engineering leaders are nothing more than political bobbleheads seeking favor from their higher-ups to earn a seat at the table of upcoming opportunities.

Advice to Management

Restructure your leadership to be engineering-focused, not run by directors with degrees in general education or some political science major.
