Pros

Good pay and benefits. Interesting work.

Cons

Boeing has a habit of finding a reason to lay off employees who have many years of service with the company when the opportunity arises.

If you wish to object to the layoff, then The Boeing Company will not give you any layoff benefits. Basically, they blackmail you.

If you don't sign a paper stating that you will not file an EEO complaint, you will not get a week's pay for each year of service when you are let go.

Advice to Management

How many times does Boeing need to be sued for age discrimination before you do the right thing?

Take a look at your senior management at the San Antonio site. The morality of this site is horrible.

One example of the morality of senior management at the San Antonio site is that they park, in numbered stalls, closer to the front door than handicapped employees do.
