A good company that pays well and allows you to grow
Lots of learning resources and senior-level engineers to help guide you. Benefits are great, and everyone seems to share the same passion for airplanes. Compensation was decent as well.
Managers were not as transparent with layoffs. There was lots of beating around the bush and giving a false sense of security.
The company is also very large, and change is hard to come by. There is a "if it works, don't fix it" mentality.
Instead of letting go of the intelligent young engineers during a layoff, take note of the more experienced guys that aren’t performing as high.
