The benefits are excellent compared to other companies:
I've become aware that each location has its own culture. The location at Boeing MAF in New Orleans has a significant role-over of employees from previous NASA programs.
Many "new/fresh" ideas are shot down because existing employees don't like change. Also, there is a significant issue with hierarchy. There are more managers than they really need, and communication is challenging.
One manager wants this while another manager may inhibit the progress. There are many issues that could be greatly improved.
Less micromanagement and let individual contributors do the job they were hired to do.
Meetings and more meetings are not going to improve production. Holding people accountable would also help.
