Pros
  • Aerospace company
  • Benefits
  • Open culture, at least in documents
Cons
  • Honeywell
  • No new ideas or improvement, since only hiring from Honeywell.
  • Honeywell culture penetration to kill Boeing culture.
  • If they love too much Honeywell culture, not sure why they quit Honeywell and joined Boeing.
Advice to Management

Advice to Boeing management, not to Honeywell management.

Honeywell, please train future Boeing employees on:

  • How to be part of a team. Most of the time, I see people from Honeywell never use the word "we." It's either "you" (only to blame) or "I" (only to appreciate). Please teach them to be part of a team.
  • Stop blame games on failures as others' mistakes. The good old Boeing culture (it's old because it's Honeywell culture, not Boeing culture anymore) is a team. We accept our mistakes instead of blaming others.
  • Stop treating counterparts (in Honeywell terms, onsite employees) as gods and us as slaves (in Honeywell terms, offshore/offsite employees). The good old Boeing culture is not "we work," but "we help each other to build a better Boeing."

Overall, Honeywell-2 (Boeing) is not the right place to work anymore.
