Pros

Interesting contracts.

  • Good vacation accrual rate based on seniority.
  • Good 401K plan.
Cons

Limited innovation.

Tasks can be boring, even though the contract appears fun.

Very mixed management – can be inept to great.

Nicknamed the Lazy B for a reason.

Aging population.

Mixed communication between engineers and higher-level management.

Compensation is not as competitive as management likes to believe.

"Salary adjustments" can be disappointing if HR refuses to promote you, regardless of anyone's input.

Advice to Management

Your aging population is hurting your company, while your young engineers leave for more innovation and better compensation. You need to flow up information more from your senior level engineers, who know the proposed products and the technologies to be used. Ignoring input and concerns from these engineers will only hurt your products and Boeing's reputation for being innovative.
