Pros

Not many now. Still get a rise yearly and a bonus as a % of the unit, i.e., BCA, BGS, or defense.

Cons

Too many managers without experience in general. Advancing in a career depends on your luck. The company started to rely more on overseas talent, while local hires are not interested much in actual work but more in how to advance with minimum effort (management path mainly).

Advice to Management

Compared to other companies in the industry, there are too many managers and not enough working bees. Grey-haired engineers, who used to be knowledgeable, took the first opportunity to take a lump-sum retirement and leave.
