Solid company with potential to move forward in the aviation industry. It's a good place for learning and does have a good health care plan.
I worked at Boeing/North Charleston for less than a year. I do not enjoy the long hours and mandatory weekends. It's not a place to work if you care about a safe and friendly environment. It looks to me that Boeing does not care about quality and safety inside the manufactory.
Delivering quality products is not possible without good environmental conditions. Human factors and education are a big issue. The Dreamliner Assembly line (B787) in North Charleston needs to address the lack of safety and quality.
Technical questions were focused more on solid mechanics, structures, and basic aircraft parts. Knowing CATIA software is an added advantage. Thoroughly know your projects because they like to dive deeper and ask questions related to the same.
No technical questions asked. They are super focused and live and die on the STAR questions. No test required. Not even sure if they’re allowed to ask anything outside of the STAR questions.
The interview was scheduled a few weeks in advance. I interviewed with two managers in the department over Teams. Both were nice and easy to talk to during the interview.
