Not a lot of opportunity for advancement if you work at a small site.
It's very difficult to change career fields.
They are replacing experienced engineers with entry-level ones.
Make it easier for people to transfer from within and change careers. Keep experienced people around.

This was for an entry-level role. STAR format, 5 questions. I was asked about experience and difficult/pressure situations. Besides the 5 STAR questions, a couple of yes/no questions were asked, e.g., "Have you ever used tool X?"
