Process
The process has 4 steps:
- HR Call: A 30-45 minute call with HR. My interviewer, Yarik, was amazing, and I really enjoyed the conversation.
- First Android Interview: This is the initial technical step. You'll be asked questions about Java, Kotlin, and Android.
- Algorithm Interview: In this step, you will solve algorithm questions using the HackerRank Interview tool.
- Live Android Coding: You will be asked to solve a problem while sharing your screen. You will need to share your code after the interview.
Questions
On the algorithm step, they asked for a string manipulation problem.
On the live coding step, they asked questions about fragment activity communication. You are allowed to use any architecture that you want, but they expect MVVM :)

Pros: Especially in engineering, product, or data, the salaries are quite competitive with Western European capitals.
The culture is relatively good, comparing to other same-sized companies.
Cons: 1. As the company gets bigger, more and more bureaucracies are introduced on every layer. Most of them cause things to go slower and more politics to be involved within decision-making processes.
2. A recently introduced RTO policy was implemented in a way that does not value employee feedback or satisfaction at all. RTO policies are implemented regardless of performance statistics, clearly, even though management repeatedly claimed otherwise. In many teams, high performers were the ones who were less in the office, and management wanted employees to believe it was the other way around. This was a bit insulting.
