The first part of the process consisted of a HackerRank test with two algorithmic questions.

After submitting the HackerRank test, the tech recruiter reached out to have an initial conversation about the role and the company, and how the following steps would occur. The conversation was very clear, and the recruiter did an excellent job explaining everything, including all the benefits and the process.

The next step involved three interviews:

• One related to algorithms, very similar to the HackerRank test.
• The next one was a system design solution related to a big data environment.
• The last one was a hiring manager interview.

The final part was the proposal with the recruiter after the three technical interviews.

Algorithm interview:

• Complexity of the algorithm
• Possible other solutions

Design system:

• The solution proposal can handle billions of records?
• How will you manage user access?
• How will the data be available for stakeholders?
