Engineering Manager Interview Experience - Amsterdam, Netherlands

April 1, 2023
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The interview process had four stages:

  • System Design Round
  • Coding Round
  • Stakeholder Management Round
  • People Management Round

I cleared the first three rounds, and the recruiter told me they were deciding the role's location. After a week of waiting, the recruiter informed me that the role was on hold. I mentioned I was open to other roles. She then passed me to another recruiter who discussed a different role with me and stated that the hiring manager was interested and would schedule the final interview. Two days later, I received an automated response indicating the role was closed. I inquired with both recruiters about other available roles but received no response.

Questions

  1. Design a fraud data pipeline.

  2. Given a list of flights and days, find the shortest route to cover all cities.

  3. General stakeholder management questions.
