Process

The interview basically starts with the recruiter calling you.

They will ask very basic questions about what you do and explain Book.com's services.

Next, they will ask you to go to their website and identify three things that can help improve it.

Your ideas should be presented in an A/B testing style.

Questions

I think Booking.com is a very horrible company. After an initial phone interview, you will proceed to a technical one, where you will be asked to go to their website and identify three changes that would help improve it.

Your ideas ought to be presented in an A/B testing style. I personally thought it was just to test one's understanding of A/B testing, but I was wrong. These folks really want you to go to their site and find something tangible.

I find this to be the most stupid request ever. How can one go to a website that has been running for years and expect me to provide tangible recommendations?

At the end, I was told I was technically good but then failed in finding something tangible. What a shame on the organization.
