I had a positive impression of the process until I received their final feedback.
To be clear, I was expecting a rejection. I did not perform well in the final interview. I would have rejected myself based on that performance.
However, the reasoning and suggestions I received from the engineers were laughable.
"Basics of computer science?" Well, I have an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering.
I have been conducting interviews myself for over two years and would never insult someone based on a one-hour interview. Perhaps teach your engineers the basics of decency before sending them to conduct interviews.
