I applied via LinkedIn and they reached out for an HR interview.
On the day of the interview, the HR was a no-show and rescheduled. This time, they did show up.
Then, they scheduled a technical/managerial round (I'm not sure which it was). Again, they were a no-show without any email or intimation. It felt like they believe only their time matters.
Nevertheless, after a long time, and as my schedule was also busy, I had to ask them to reschedule a couple of times, but at least I informed them all the time.
They had my resume and, during the interview, asked questions totally unrelated to my area of work. These topics were never relevant to my field.
As an analogy, it's like asking a soccer player how to dig a tunnel.
I never mentioned anything about 'tunnels' in my resume, so why schedule the interview at all?
That was the first question asked, and I immediately felt judged as not being fit. I felt the interview was scheduled just to reject me on purpose.
The interviewer could not even explain the purpose or what they were trying to achieve with this opportunity.
Right below, I see a "Job Interview Difficulty" section. My suggestion to @Glassdoor: Add a new choice, "STUPID."
I would not like to put the question.
