I was contacted by the recruiter for an initial screening interview.
The interview felt like an interrogation. I wasn't told anything about the team or position, only asked about my experience. Questions kept coming. In about 20 minutes, the interviewer stated my experience was not a fit and I would struggle in the next stages, then concluded the interview.
This left me baffled. Why contact me if my experience wasn't a fit (especially when my experience was stated in my profile)? I've never had such an interview experience before; it felt like I was on a conveyor belt.
This experience made me seriously question if I even want to work for this company.
