I have full flexibility in finding projects and building internal tools to ease the operational work. It's great for those who are self-motivated. The colleagues are smart, and the team is great. There is a clear career path for SRE. The benefits are competitive, and the working environment helps you focus.
Cross-team collaboration might take time. There are multiple solutions to solve the same problem, and legacy code that might not be so charming.
