I am very glad I joined Booking, as they really care about the reliability of their systems and are taking it to another level. Nice benefits and career opportunities, and what is even more important – good work-life balance.
I don't have a lot to say. The only thing that comes to mind is a lot of legacy Perl code. However, there is an ongoing effort to rewrite it in a more modern stack.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer
The interview process was easy, straightforward, fast, and all steps were communicated and understood beforehand. The recruiter was amazing and very polite, as were the rest of the interviewers. All steps moved very fast forward. Feedback was prompt
Senior Site Reliability Engineer
I had a first call with a recruiter, followed by a one-hour interview with two SREs. I was quite surprised that we didn't discuss systems but only coding. I had to complete two LeetCode exercises. They provided feedback after ten days.

First coding assessment on HackerRank. Total 10 questions were there. One question related to coding and the other questions were multiple-choice questions. It was followed by two technical interviews and one HR interview.
