Pros

It is a great place to learn and build up on skills much needed for a big-scale business. A scale that often requires custom solutions (vs. off-the-shelf products).

Cons

The management is so bad.

Confused and indecisive on strategies, which creates a lot of friction and unproductive, draining discussions and decision-making processes in general.

Also, managing the people side is very bad. For unclear (or subjective) reasons, people are rewarded and others are not.

In general, management in booking is based on gut feelings and subjective views that often shift between managers and over time. It makes it extremely hard to objectively tune and calibrate your (and their) expectations.

It didn't use to be so. Sad!
