Pros
  • Easy to get hired.
  • Booking has a party culture. So it's a fun place to hang out, but it's not a good place to work.
  • Friendly relationships between teammates.
  • It's a travel company.
Cons
  • Too much in-company politics.
  • There are managers and high-level executives who are not familiar with tech, but they are taking tech decisions.
  • Booking loves Google and uses Google's products without considering any other alternatives, even if they know there are better options.
  • Employees are not valued.
  • I had bad experiences with the HR team and the payroll team.
  • Not a tech company.
  • Legacy tech and planning to move to another legacy tech.
Advice to Management

I would think about the following items if I were a high-level executive in booking:
