It was just a recruiter call. I had a call with a guy from the company. He asked me very general questions about my experience and places of work.
After that, I received a generic response like, "Sorry, but your profile does not match well with this position."
Only after a direct message to the recruiter did I get to know that the position requirements had just changed and they were now looking for a Senior Engineering Manager.
It's not the first time I've heard that from companies. I am just sick of wasting my time with these guys.
