The company is becoming more corporate. There is no 401k matching. Different organizations vary greatly. Some are run super well, have no politics, and Get Stuff Done. Others are super disorganized. The bar for hiring engineers has been dropping. Sales and product have a lot of politics. Engineering it varies, but much less so. There is a lot of tech debt; it will take years to overcome at the current rate.
Five rounds of algorithms and data structures, retrospective and behavioral questions to assess culture fit. I did well on the retrospective but did not do good in other rounds. It is a fairly detailed process.
The process was very long and tedious, with too many stages. Communication was good but not always clear. I wish it was more streamlined and clear. It was not the best or the worst, I must say.
