I was interviewed with three different teams. All of them had at least three levels.
I was strung along for more than 60 days.
For the second interview, my reference checks were done, and I was told that I was getting an offer. Then, for a week, I was told that the manager was traveling and I would get an offer once he was back. Finally, it seemed the manager changed his mind and was looking for some other specific skill.
They again put me through another team. One of the interviews was done by a person probably of staff/senior level. This person was very mean and started the interview by making fun of me for not getting through the previous interviews. He laughed at me throughout the interview and did not really agree with any of my answers.
Finally, Broadcom decided that I did not have enough Linux skills.
Little background on myself: I have 10 years of experience in C and Linux. In my current job, I have received two Best Performer awards and two promotions in the last two years.
So, you have almost talked to everyone in the building?
