Process

First, I was asked about my experience and complicated tasks I had to solve, along with the methods used for solving them. So, it was basically a conversation between two engineers about ways to solve this or that issue.

After an hour of one-on-one conversation, another engineer joined. That was a skill test. They asked basic questions regarding embedded software development, including:

  • locks
  • interrupts
  • priority inversion
  • ARM assembler semaphore operations
  • issues with multi-CPU systems

Questions

ARM assembler semaphore operation command.

Show an example in assembler if this command was not provided.

2D maze general solution algorithm.
