Process

I applied for an intern position. Then their human resources department emailed me to ask about my interest in one position. I replied affirmatively, and then I received a call.

On the phone, they asked me about my engineering background and experience with testing equipment. Then, they scheduled an on-site interview.

The interview was with four people, one after another in the same room.

  • The first person, a senior engineer, asked me about RF theory and matching transmission lines.
  • The second person, a junior engineer, ran through my extracurricular activities. He was friendly and left 10 minutes early.
  • The third person, the Principal Engineer, took my other engineering projects and went into depth.
  • Last but not least, the manager asked me to describe a car. My answer started with what I usually see in a car: gas, brake, etc. The expected answer should have begun with the engine. He also asked what DMA and UART are, and some other computer-related questions.
