The pay is fair. It actually pays average people too much and not enough for high performers. The work-life balance is really different from group to group. Promotion opportunities are good, if you like a fancier title every couple of years.
No accountability for upper management. They screwed up so many key decisions, but the people who should be fired are still up there making ridiculous amounts of money. The vacation policy is ridiculous. You can supposedly request unlimited vacation each year, but if you are a responsible person who cares about the projects you are working on, you would not get any because you do not have time to take vacation.
The culture needs to change to reward people delivering the results and punish the people who screwed up. This should start with upper management.
