- Engineering focused.
- Innovative culture, although this has a dark side as well (duplication of effort and inefficiency).
- Compensation higher than industry average.
- Not perceived as a great place to work.
- Behaves like a cluster of competing business units.
- High inconsistency in skill level depending on business units.
- Needs to pay attention to employee "intangibles" -- i.e. make it a GREAT place to work, ala Google.
- Senior management seems disconnected from reality.
- IT policies are a drag.

Pay attention to your employees.
Make sure you hire and retain the best talent (this does not seem to be happening in many business units).
